The food is amazing! Great service and the food is always fresh. Literally ate here a week straight and it doesn't help that it's 2 minutes from my house.

So good! Get there early if you want Mac-n-cheese or oxtails as they go fast. Generous portions of delicious food.

I am very fortunate to live around the corner from Bless Up! The absolutely delicious food & friendly, professional service is indeed a blessing! I'm sure the ambiance would be just as great if this was an eat-in restaurant.

This spot has a very authentic vibe, you can tell upon parking when you see the brothas out back manning the grill, you're looking forward to the flavor being on point. It's counter ordering and while waiting there is plenty to look at. Their abundance alter/area up front caught my eye with the crystals and statues. The portions are generous and the service was professional and fast. As expected the chicken was falling off the bone good, plenty or rice and gravy, BUT, I did not care for their cabbage at all. It was a huge disappointment, it was mushy and didn't have a lot of flavor. It kinda seemed like an amalgamation of everything other flavor on the plate. Since I'm a big stickler for cabbage, it didn't hit the spot for me, but I'm a cabbage snob. I would not let that stop you from giving them

We came across this place as we left the Rock and Roll HOF in Cleveland heading back to our hotel during our Great Lakes Road trip. We're from Philly. We had kids in tow and not sure if they would like it. We stuck to the basics and ordered two large platters. One was the jerk chicken, rice, cabbage, and mac & cheese, the chicken was very tender, full of flavor with just the right amount of spice. The second was goat, rice, cabbage and mac & cheese. The goat was delicious, mean was coming of the bone and so tender. My only warning if whatever sauce they pour over the rice, get it on the side for those that don't like the heat. Our mouths were on fire but still enjoyed every bit of the food. The 2 large platters was enough to feed 5 of us and enough for 2nds and left overs. Total was almost $40. The cheapest meal during our vacation. Everyone loved it. Of course the goat looked like beef, so we didn't tell the kids that it was goat. So glad we found it and enjoyed it so much. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. So thank you to them.

BLESSUP, CLEVELAND! BlessUp Jamaican is so right and authentic!!! They prepare their original jerk marinade themselves in the real way that can't be captured in a store bought bottle. The chicken is jerked with freshly ground herbs and then grilled low and slow over fire to let the flavors marry over heat. The formula of their great marinade and the attentive care they put into cooking results in EXCELLENCE. Savory and juicy bites of island chicken, bone in and packed with flavor! Count me in! Word seems to be traveling fast as everyone is telling each other about this new Jamaican spot. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting a couple visiting from Brooklyn New York who heard about this place by word of mouth. Maybe you'll hear about it again from people who know you love food, but remember you also heard it from me! BlessUp's jerk chicken is jamming, and I would drive from anywhere for it. If you're a beginner to Jamaican cuisine, let them know how much heat you can handle when they offer to top up your rice and peas with some sauce. Best likes the sweet sauce on his rice. If I have to choose a first experience for friends who have never had Jamaican food, this is one of the places in Cleveland I would PROUDLY go to. It's simply THAT good. Don't say no to yourself. Remember the name. BLESSUP!! From whatever direction, I would drive extra miles from anywhere to get a bite here. And of course you know! They also have festival, oxtail, chick curry, goat stew, and snapper escovitch too! Guys, I've told you about my ongoing love for Ela's on 305 (read that review!) Now you know I would never steer you wrong! Go to BlessUp! Eat good!!!!! They don't miss!!! And they are so nice!!! If you're happy this week, it's probably because you got to enjoy some really good food here :D woo hoo!
